Ledgent Accounting & Finance is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing manufacturing organization. This position will be responsible for the full accounting cycle for multiple business entities, including month-end close, financial reporting, fixed assets, tax compliance, and consolidated reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while partnering with cross-functional teams.

$75,000-$95,000 - DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and financial reporting packages, including variance analyses compared to budget and prior-year results.
• Perform cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, including capital project tracking, capitalization, depreciation, and fixed asset ledger management.
• Manage and process credit memos as needed.
• Prepare and file Sales and Use Tax returns and assist with property tax compliance.
• Support internal and external audit requests by providing financial schedules and documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special finance initiatives.
• Coordinate monthly financial reporting and consolidation activities with corporate and parent company stakeholders.
• Develop strong working relationships across the organization while supporting company policies and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close, cost accounting, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
• Knowledge of fixed assets, Sales and Use Tax, and financial reporting processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Audit experience is a plus.
